To all, it is again time for our Annual Shuffleboard Tournament, “Puck the Shamrocks”, this year our 9th.  The date is February 8th at 10:30am.  For this years tourney, we are returning to Elliott Bay in Burien for the entire day.  


Shamrock Charities continues to support the Ronald McDonald House as well as the Red Rhino Project in Kenya.  We have now branched to support other groups such as the Sounders Rave Foundation and Starfire’s S.T.E.M. Program as well as the National Alliance on Mental Illness with emphasis on youth.


In addition, in 2019 we awarded a $2,500 scholarship to a local High School Senior recognizing her dedication to assisting underprivileged and seriously ill children.  While at college, she plans to continue helping children in need. 


To accomplish a fun and timely Shuffleboard Tournament, we are reducing the number of teams from 16 to 12.  We are also upping the winning teams prize to $600 for the 1st Place team/$150 each player, $400 for 2nd Place/$100, $200 for 3rd/50, and $100 for 4th/25.  As everyone knows, all winnings come in the form of gift cards.


We have selected a very tasty food buffet and as always, everyone’s entry will also include 2 beers or wines.
The cost per person this year will be $100.  If anyone likes, I can provide you with a IRS receipt for supporting the Charity.
